Michelle just moved into a historic home in Salem built in 1897! She lives with her husband Mike, two dogs and three cats. She is enjoying the restoration process of her home. In her free time you can find Michelle crocheting or knitting a custom designed blanket for one of her 14 grandchildren or extended family, doing crafts, gardening or spending time with family.
Michelle has 17 years of customer service experience in the public sector and has been enjoying retirement for the past 3 years. She is looking forward to expanding her creative crafting skills onto the design world of weddings and providing exceptional customer service to KS couples.

What made you want to become a coordinator?

Family is important to me, I really want to support Jessica and Lori in the expansion of their business. I've been retired from State service for 3 years now and I'm ready to begin a new chapter in my life and to feel a sense of accomplishment. Being a coordinator allows me the opportunity to be creative and see a wedding come together from beginning to end. It feels really great to see a bride and groom enjoying their day and know we helped their vision come to life for their special day.

What is your favorite part of a wedding?

My favorite part is just after the couple share their first kiss and they turn to their friends and family and are presented as husband and wife. Their faces are full of love and excitement!

What is your best tip for our couples?

Never take each other for granted. Life with each other is precious and should be enjoyed and appreciated. The little things really do count. Always remember to say "thank you" or "I'm grateful" or "I noticed what you did" these words are simple, but they show that you noticed the efforts of your spouse and that you are grateful for them.

What are you most excited about for 2018?

I'm excited to be a part of the KS team in 2018. It will be great to spend extra time with family while doing work I enjoy. Also, 2018 has some great emerging trends! I can't wait to see what our creative couples come up with and help them make their wedding day uniquely them.
